ULTRABIKERS CUP is a year-round competition in which cycling enthusiasts collect points for participating in a series of one-day and bikepacking races, solo riding of fixed routes and fulfilling charitable challenges with a goal to raise money for charitable purposes.
The organizer of the UltraBikers project is a former touring-cyclist, now racing bikepacker Radomír Čížek, for whom riding and creating routes and organizing charity events is also a preparation for ultrabikepacking events such as TransContinental Race.
UltraBikers events are non-mass and non-commercial, have no sponsors, entry fee is set as low as possible and are known for its friendly atmosphere.
UltraBikers Cup 2022 includes 4 major bikepacking races and a charity challenge EuroPeaks, to which competitors from abroad are also warmly welcomed. The foriegn riders can obviously attend just one chosen race, and don´t have to take part in the year-round competition.
In 2022 we have 4 road bike racing races in the calendar:
15.4. – BŘECLAV-BUDAPEST (730 km or 480 km, 25 points, voluntary route)
2.7. – RACE ACROSS CZECHIA (1030 km / 14 000 m, fixed route)
24.7. – EUROPEAKS: LAUSANNE-SALZBURG (1100 km or 1700 km)
14.9. – SPLIT-BŘECLAV (1300 km, 30 waypoints, voluntary route)
And one MTB bikepacking race across Moravia:
7.5. – MORAVIA DIVIDE (700 km / 13 000 m, fixed route)
In races Moravia Divide, Race Across Czechia and Split-Břeclav, the riders will be equipped with GPS trackers, thanks to which it will be possible to follow the course of the race via the Internet. Entry fee for registrations until 31st January 2022 is only 60 eur, from 1st February it is 80 eur.
Riders interested in participating in more races can then take part in the year-round competition and, for their performances, eventually win free entry fees for events held in 2023. Foreign (non-czech) riders have their own category within the UltraBikers Cup.
